Yes, in almost every case. The catch is electrical: a Neorest needs a dedicated GFCI circuit and we often have to run conduit along the slab or through a chase from the attic. Older 92201 homes weren’t wired for bidet seats. We handle the rough-in and the finish work so the Neorest sits flush against the wall with no exposed wiring.
The wax ring under the toilet takes the worst of it. Thermal cycling between 110-degree days and cooler nights makes the slab and the toilet expand and contract at different rates. Over years, that movement deforms the wax and you get a slow leak. We use high-quality rings and sometimes wax-free seals on Indio slabs where movement is a known issue. It’s a small upgrade that prevents a big rot problem.
